Shutdown your PC within 5 seconds
- cpu_master 2007-11-11We all know that Windows xp takes ages to close all programs and shutdown, when we shut it down in manual method. That is, when we follow "Start => Turn Off Computer" sequence to shutdown a pc, It takes lots of time.
But when we need to do it quickly, here is a cool short trick which does it in seconds..
1. Press Control+Alt+Delete key combinations.
2. This brings up "Windows Task Manager" window.
3. In Task Manager's menu bar, Click Shutdown Menu.
4. Now, Press and hold Control key(Ctrl key) on keyboard and in Shut down menu, Click "Turn Off" item.
Thats it! Within 2 to 5 seconds, your pc will be shut down completely.
Btw, I used it in XP and it is working. Try experiementing with Win 2000 and other Windows versions and if it works, please reply here.
