Disk boot failure error while starting the pc

hello all,

I got a new Pentium 4 computer just 15 days back and working great.

Yesterday I got a Cd from my friend which he said has some software. I inserted the cd into cd drive and opened My Computer to see what is inside.

Thats it. My computer just restarted and from then on i am getting this ridiculus message Disk boot failure.. Please insert system disk and press enter to continue..

Now, what i should do to bring back my pc to its original working state?

Disk boot failure message usually indicates that your pc's boot files are corrupted. Just start from your Operating system's boot disk and try to transfe the system files again.

Most probably, this will solve your problem.
