Checking CPU temperature, fan speed, timings etc..

Sir,

Is there any system utility to check my pc's CPU temperature, fan speed, timings etc..? I think my PC Cpu is over heating, but don't know how to check it. Suggestions are welcome.

There is a freeware called CPU-Z which does most of the things you asked for.. check out the following info which CPU-Z offers..

CPU

* Name and number.
* Core stepping and process.
* Package.
* Core voltage.
* Internal and external clocks, clock multiplier.
* Supported instructions sets.
* All cache levels (location, size, speed, technology).

Mainboard

* Vendor, model and revision.
* BIOS model and date.
* Chipset (northbridge and southbridge) and sensor.
* Graphic interface.

Memory

* Frequency and timings.
* Module(s) specification using SPD (Serial Presence Detect) : vendor, serial number, timings table.

System

* Windows and DirectX version.

i think you can use the freeware speedfan too for the same. Officially they say...

"SpeedFan is a freeware program that monitors voltages, fan speeds and temperatures in computers with hardware monitor chips."
